Why is it that we sometimes without apparent reason or motive? Today i realized that whenever someone wants to make us feel worse by insulting, it hurts them more to ignore than just fight back (yes it may seem like a logical answer to many, but not to me ;x). In the audio book of Dale Carnegie (dunno if ive wrote about this before Dx) he says, wisely, that everyone desires a feeling of importance; the kid that cries to his mom, the emo that wants to stand out, the smart guy who wants to be praised, rich people that donate so they have their names on plates, people at IRC that feel so good if they have a (+%@!) beside their names…. etc. EVERYONE wants it, some in lesser degree than others, but in the end we all want it.

This leads obviously to think that when someone insults others or tries to make them feel like they are less, its because they search this exact feeling. So by denying the insult, by ignoring it, we are denying them that exact feeling of importance. To be honest I’ve made the mistake of looking that feeling of importance in these way, but as usual now that I know about it I’ll try to improve and avoid doing it to the best of my abilities. I have also learned that when we want to make someone feel better we just need to make them feel important, even if we dont like them and they dont like us, if we make ppl feel important they WILL either stat liking us or at least stop disliking us.

So try to make people feel important, not because you want something off them, but because you’ll make people happier and enjoy their lives more. Just with a small gesture like calling people by their names even if we just met them, or telling someone is right even if they are not (more on this on a later topic), aknowledging someone’s job in a specific task, etc. Lets try to be in the other’s shoes, and understand them… try to be empathic about what other’s feel, after all their feelings aren’t so far away from ours…

So… a friend asking me if i knew any nice free programs. I instantly answered, "all programs are free for me". Yeah, I’ll confess it, I’m a pirate! \o/

I download everything i want for free; songs, programs, games, etc. Of course sometimes I dont find what i want, but there is always a subsitite. Recently found how to download songs from imeem, which i think saves alot of trouble if its just one song you want.

Anyway the reason i wrote this is to wonder, is piracy wrong? Well i asked a priest once… his answer was rather suprising xD He said that the internet is a public domain, and as such, everything thats public is free correct? So, if someone publishes the software, its free. To be honest that answer was sucky >.> Mainly because i think piracy is… well wrong. Not as if im stealing the program, I see it as: If i had to paid for that program, I wouldnt use it in the first place. I would use the alternative, since i dont need to pay to use it… well I use it. (even that sounds like complicated explanation to me @-@)

The thing is piracy is wrong, but you cant do anything about it. Companies should focus on new ways to sell instead of forcing ways to sell with old methods. Adapting is the key, companies need to evolve if they want to survive on the net. So i encourage all if you wanna pirate something, try to see if your country doesnt have any laws against it xD

One more thing about piracy, since im so savy in the ways of the pirate, it helps me find stuff that chocoju needs. So that fact alone should make piracy good o.<

My big siter is getting married this coming friday. She is 25 years old and has been with her boyfriend around 6 years or so. To be honest I don’t think I’ll miss her much. >_>;

Well she is barely around, always works or with with her half-groom, so really not that much to miss. By the way i say half groom because the legal wedding was this last saturday so legally they are married already

They will live in my aunt’s empty apartment until they can afford their own place. :3 which means… a empty room in the house! \o/

On another note….

My thesis process already started and even though in my mind finding sources wouldnt be hard… it has proven to be quite a challenge T_T

After almost 3 hours (more like 6 hours trying but 3 were lost in a nap) of thesis work, I came up with the outstanding number of… 3 pages! \o/ the only problem is i need 20 pages for this tuesday T_T Well I have no other choice… So I’ll focus and start typing *-* since i need thesis to graduate, and i need to graduate to go to indo, and i need to go to indo to…. taste the food! \o/ oh and to see my chocoju >.> (jking xD)
